Taking my own advice, imperfectly
For the last two weeks, I had a killer headache. It is better now, but my head hurt for thirteen of the previous fourteen days.
I do a podcast and a blog advising people how to live happily ever after. Imagine how embarrassing it was to discover the headache was caused by stress.
I failed.
So what?
Thinking in healthy ways doesn’t mean you do everything perfectly every single time. “Happily ever after” doesn’t mean I am never sad, angry, frustrated or hurt. It means that I choose to pick myself up, dust myself off, and try again. If I can do it, you can too.
